I'd wish I never had to post in this forum, but that's a dream.
It would mean all works perfect.
Damn it, it doesen't.
Ok, I uploaded by FTP 4.7 Gigabytes of file split in 7 archives.
I downloaded as client and had only 3 Gigabytes.
My friend in Sweden downloaded as client (pay per download) and got 2.6 Gb.
Downolad by FTP matches the original, and is opanable, downlaod through payment (as regular client) won't do the same.
I got to the faq's, nothing about this disease.
I got here and found a dozen of complainers about this problem, but no solution advised.
One changed hosting provider and got through, one talked the hoster to change a setting and got through fine, the rest... nothing.
Could anybody explain in plain langiage what is happening, if it is because of some servers settings WHAT are those settings and WHAT have we to GENTLY ask those gentlemen we pay hosting to, to change for us?
That would really help some dummies like me, otherwise the hosting support says "not our issue" knowing we have NO IDEA what are we talking about.
Thanks for the tips, I know it costed you blood sweat to reach this knowledge!
Emil.
