how to set up different prices for different type of customers?

I do both retail and wholesale. I'd like to have my store to show retail price for regular customers and wholesale prices for wholesale customer. For wholesale customers, I require them to show me their legal documents that they are retailers.

How can I achieve this? One way I can think of is that I give each wholesale customer a unique code after I verified them. When they login, they enter the code and my store will show them wholesale price... Is this possible? or I am in the wrong direction and there is other simple ways to do this?

I think this dual pricing is exactly what I am looking for. However I am running Zen Cart™ Version: v1.3.9f and it says that it supports Zen Cart™ Version: v1.3.8. According to the link, http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=166

Has anyone that upgraded to .9f had any problems with this mod? I don't want to install it unless I can confirm its working with the current build.

Since not that many Zenners use this mod, the best way to answer your question would be to set up a test Zencart installation and try it.

Yes, I'm slightly confused. The Dual Pricing mod says it's been downloaded almost 22 thousand times. Surely one of those 22 thousand is running v1.3.9f, the most secure and recommended version to date?
