Menu buttons lead to nowhere

I just installed Zen Cart yesterday... Using 1.3.9f, installed a new template (PureBlackFree) and have a few quirks I'm trying to work out. I'm new to this, so please bear with me. I'm working through the tutorials and have gotten most things set up and working, but my search juju is failing me on a couple of things.

The PureBlackFree template included a top menu bar that has five buttons (home, new products, specials, my account, shopping cart). My categories are listed above that.

My problem is that there isn't a "specials" page in my define pages editor, so the button goes to a blank page I can't edit. How do I add a page? Or, even better: how do I delete this button from the navigator bar? I tried to delete the language and currency links via the /includes/languages/english/pure_black_free/header.php
but couldn't get rid of them correctly (just broke them, lol) so I put them back.

If you haven't set up any specials for your products then nothing will be displayed on that page.

Specials can be setup in

admin -> catalog -> specials
