defect with my top navigation

Does anyone know why i am getting this defect at the top of my navigation link for FAQ's ive searched and searched but I still cant figure it out.

It seems like its getting pushed down by :: :: :: :: ::

you can try to turn those separators off

I have seen that problem several times in the last few years: the last item in a menu row dropping down a bit. I don't recall whether it has happened to cat-tabs or just ez-pages, but it has been in both header and footer menus. Unfortunately, I have never seen or found a reliable way to truly correct it when it happens, only hacks to mask the effect.

It happens in both Firefox and IE8, though when I switch to "compatibility view" (IE7- emulator) the last item disappears completely and the rest expand to fill the space (without dropping down).
