    Default changing install directory

    I have zencart installed into a directory on my web hosting
    www.domain.com/store/

    I am looking to change this so that it runs from
    www.domain.com

    From what I gather I would need to edit the configure.php files
    looking at the file I would need to edit:

    PHP Code:
    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG''/store/');

    define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG''/store/');

    define('DIR_FS_CATALOG''/home/content/38/6133435/html/store/');

    define('DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE''/home/content/38/6133435/html/store/cache');

    Then move the content of the store folder to the root directory.

    Is that all it should take or would there be anything else that needs done?

    I assume on a fresh install of zen cart the cache folder is empty except for the .htaccess folder and index.php.
    So if I am moving my website to a different folder/domain can I just ignore the content of this folder and create a new one with only the .htaccess and index.php files?

    Usually, yes. Unless you're using an addon that has cached some data that you don't want to make it cache over again.
    If it's just log files and you're not trying to troubleshoot any problems that the logs would help with, feel free to delete them.
