BACKUP_MYSQL Admin Tool: Unknown MySQL server host

I just installed:
BACKUP_MYSQL Admin Tool v1.3
Designed for: Zen Cart v1.2.x and 1.3.x series
on Zen Cart 1.3.8a

but after clicking the backup button Im getting these errors:

Result code: 2
0 => mysqldump: Got error: 2005: Unknown MySQL server host 'localhost:/tmp/mysql5.sock' (1) when trying to connect

Failure: The database has NOT been saved.

I assume that the script can't find the SQL server, so my questions is: where/how do I correct this?

I haven't used that mod, but I have used this one, and it works fine - you might try it instead:
