Upgrading from 1.3.8a to latest with unknown mods

My sites have:

Zen Cart 1.3.8a
Patch: 1::
Database Patch Level: 1.3.9b


There are several mods installed, but I don't know what. Someone else was installing mods who is no longer available. Do you have any suggestions for the best method to upgrade to the latest version?

You are probably going to have to suck it and see i am afraid

Provide a link to your site and some people may be able to spot some of the more obvious ones, eg image handler

Some mods will add entries to the ends of your admin menus, so have a look at your menus and compare them against that of a virgin 1.3.8a shop

if its gotherosary

then you have (these are the ones I can see)
imagehandler
reward points
possibly a sidebox mode for your moreinfo box or is that easypages?

Yes, a lot of the mods have been updated and some older versions may not be compatible with current zen code

eg image handlers hover has been fixed so it works in Safari, Chrome and Opera, and also the code is php 5.3 compatible, which is good if your host is looking to upgrade soon
