When you say "it used to work ok", what exactly does that mean?
When did it stop?
What else was going on at that time? server changes? hosting changes? admin settings changes? upgrades? installing addons? sending out mass email campaigns? hack attempt? and the list goes on

yes, I did a server change. But that was over 2 weeks ago. All this started just this past Saturday night. I have not updated zen cart yet for I think it will wipe out all my work on the edits I did to the pages If I read correctly and truthfully I dont know how to do all that or does the update put the new scripts where they belong? Here is what the server had to say so I went in and disabled what he told me on auto response.
It seems that it's your own script is sending spam and you're getting bouncebacks with undelivered spam messages. Please disable any automated emailing and check if these messages stop. I'll clean the email queue meanwhile.

Dr. B, I have downloaded the updated zen cart on my pc, now how do i install it without wipeing out all my work and edits I have done to my store. I sure dont want to go thru alll tht again.
As for the email problems I got that figured out. It was in a setting in the Admin. CP that I had wrong toward the bottom.
SMTP Email Account Mailbox
SMTP Email Account Password
SMTP Email Mail Host mail.yoursite.com
SMTP Email Mail Server Port 25
Convert currencies for Text emails £,£
In my case I needed to leave the Account Mailbox and Account Password BLANK
I found the ZenCart EBook very helpful. Anyone interested and if having problems my advice is to go for it. You will make yourself a better and more Knowledgeable Zenner on issues.
