Default after SSL config background images don't display

I don't even really know which forum to put this question in!

I've recently rebuilt my site with 1.3.9d, and everything is going pretty well - except now that i've migrated everything to my web root and am installing the SSL. (I use shared SSL.)

What I'm finding is that when my site redirects to the secure server when trying to register, login or look at the cart etc., none of the images from the background, header, category links etc. are showing. The product images show just fine, and the page layout doesn't break - the images just simply don't show!

my site is linked in my signature.

I'm thinking it might be trying to pull the images from the template-default directory but haven't tested it yet. i wouldn't know how to fix that anyways, other than putting the images there for it to find.

Anybody have this problem before? I didn't have this problem with my old shop, but that was a 1.3.8 shop.

Anyways, I'm off to go and test and see if it IS trying to pull from the wrong directory. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Your template uses a CSS minify addon which is clearly not able to find the files properly in your current configuration.
Turn off that feature and it will probably work fine, or at least reveal more about the true problem.

Alternatively you might have some paths set incorrectly in your configure.php file when you added the SSL details.

    Hi DrByte,

I tried disabling the CSS minify in my admin, but the page breaks when I do so. I've left it disabled so you can see what I mean.
I've double checked the configure.php files, but I will check again - never hurts to triple check!!

You should fix that problem, since it's the real cause of the symptoms you first posted about.
I suspect you've got something wrong with your SSL paths.
What did you do to your configure.php file when enabling SSL? There's a tutorial on the topic ... maybe you missed some steps? https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=14

I will have to post in the template thread about that - not sure where to start with that problem.

as for my configure.php, I used the same settings that my old configure.php used, as my site worked just fine before this. I use shared SSL, so I don't have https://www frozenrosedesign com like it says in the tut, but I've not had problems with it before now so I didn't see there being a problem. I've gone over the settings again and everything looks hunky-dory, so my bet is it's just a problem with the minify add on.

thanks for your input on this, i never would have thought it was that at all, and now i've got somewhere to start. the Zen team rocks!
