Database location

Guess I am letting this cold get the best of me, but I cannot seem to locate the database so that I cn get a copy of it to work on locally. (I am doing this so that I can better aquaint myself with the store. Also, so that I can find a workaround for the EZPopulate issues that I ave been suffering from).
Could someone please point me to where the database woudl be located when I FTP into the site?

The database isn't stored on your server in a single physical file.
It's stored inside the database engine's storage archive.
