Default Opinion Wanted on Payment Types

    Hey Folks.

So I come from an Ebay background and my ZC store is set up up to accept PayPal and I am also signed up with PayPal Pro for direct CC sales. I am wondering if I really need to accept direct CC payments at this point. It seems like so many people are already using PayPal these days.

What's your opinion? Would you keep the option for direct CC payments as a convenience to your potential customers or would all the bases be covered by using just "normal" PayPal?

Thanks, in advance, for your time and opinions.

Normall paypal will work fine as you
do not need to have paypal account to pay through it.

I believe providing customers to pay by credit card on your store
directly looks better than having to direct the customer to an
off site payment processor then return them to your store again.

Although customers get both options when using website payments
pro as express check is enabled in zencart.

I think it depends to some extent on what you're selling, and to whom. The older your demographic, the more you'll probably need the direct option.

I'm putting together three sites now which will be mainly B2B, and they'll all be Paypal Express and Google Checkout only. I'm going to go to some length to explain why (simplicity, PCI compliance expense, security).

I think the connection in people's minds between eBay and Paypal is decreasing, and Paypal isn't so much seen in the negative light it used to be. Lots of sellers hate Paypal, but fewer buyers.

If you go Paypal-only, though, use Express.
