Different header banners for different categories?

Is it possible to set different banners for different pages on my website. I have a banner up now but it seems to show on every page. I want a different banner to show for each catagory. The banner would apply to that catagories products??

Try the smart backgrounds contribution - it might work or it might be at least a starting point. If I read it right, it will do foreground images too - maybe the logic will help you.

I too need to achieve this. I was told that I would have to go and change a lot of code to associate the banners to specific categories. Seeing how I am not a real strong programmer, my only option is to keep looking for some easier way to achieve this

Smart Backgrounds can do the work for this, but you will need to add/change a small bit of code in a file - don't know which one offhand, but it shouldn't be hard to find.
Post in the SBG support thread and I will look into it.
