Change price with option change???

Hey all,

I would like to have an item with three quality grades and price them accordingly.

A Grade @ 6.00 (Price changes when Drop down option is checked)
B Grade @ 5.00
C Grade @ 4.00

I have been at this for awhile (slower than the avg Joe, I know!)

I have read through Ajeh's instructions and am clueless. Also have read through multiple threads and still don't get it. Maybe a simple step by step would be the way to go if someone can point me to a particular post/thread that I have missed.I know this has to have been answered before.

You would set the price of the product to 0.00 in the product set up screen, and set Product Priced by Attributes: to Yes.

Then create three attributes for that product with the proper names and prices:

Attributes seem a little overwhelming at first, but if you stick with it, all becomes clear.

Got the book and followed the steps (shoulda dun this in the first place, duh)

Works great! My question for anyone here . . . is thee a way to adjust quantities by attribute?


EX: for A grade I have 5 copies, B grade 2 copies, and C grade 2 copies. I need the store to track individual copies so and order is not place for something I run out of.
