Dicount coupon TAX problem

Is there a known bug on the discount module regarding the tax?

I am using 1.3.9f version - no mods installed that has to do with tax, nor discount coupons.

When I set up a DC - 10% off, and limits it to only work on purchases > 500, I get the error: "You have to purchase for more than 500" even though I have shopped for more than 600.

I realize this has to be because of the tax, which in my shop is 25%.

The percentage (10%) is calculated just fine, as long as I shop for more than what I've limited the coupon too.

I need it so, that when I say the discount is for purchases above 500, it actually works on orders where total products = 500 or more (included taxes)

I've tried all possible solutions, and right now, I have:

Tax in admin = true (Scandinavian store, we always uses TAX in our calculations, so I want this to be true...

[FONT=Calibri]In order to remove any possible influences due to add-ins or other mods testing was done on a fresh installation of version 1.3.9f. Installation was made with demo products which were then deleted via admin.[/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri]It seems there is a problem with the way tax is calculated according the display price settings and the way this is handled when using discount coupons.[/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri]Whilst you can work around this by creating coupons that will cover the anomalies, for example 105% and, in the case of the £6.95 product, a coupon with a value of £6.96, this is not ideal and likely to cause some unexpected results and many hours testing looking for the reason.[/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri]When making a test purchase of a download product and using a discount coupon with a value of either 100% or the same price as the product there is no download button after confirmation only a message 'NOTE: Downloads are not available until payment has been confirmed'.[/FONT]

One thing to keep in mind when using downloadable products: The user can download the file by clicking on the link in the email confirmation that they receive or by going to their account page and viewing that order.
