Attribute colour / text size

Having another blonde moment.. Setting up products that require text input, and would like to change the colour and size of the text (character count) in the "maximum characters allowed" box. Displays ok in Opera, but can't read the text in IE. Would be great if I could make this whole box larger perhaps? Where is the code for this?

I am seeing a text entry box that is full center box width for max 250 characters - - using firefox

Ok, so that's the end users box, thats no problems - the box I'm trying to re-size, and change the text colour / size is to the left of "maximum characters allowed"

Will have to alter a copy file or 2 for your template override structure
