home page !!!

i been trying for months now searching the faq`s threrads etc???? how do i make the pages look my own colours etc, i know how to get into the roots but dont know which file paths to chosse to change it!! any help will be much appricated, thanks everyone

Colors are through the stylesheet and your custom images

but i not sure what to change and the few little bits i have changed like colour dont seem to make any differance??!!??? thanks

Have you read all the information in the Tutorials/FAQ and Wiki about creating a custom template? Have you followed those instructions? Have you considered getting one of the free templates to help jumpstart your site? You can see the free templates at http://(sorry, site offline)/. Use the pull down menu to change templates and see what they look like on a live site.

thanks for all your help everbody, i am getting there now, i am strating to understand it all but i have tryed to change the zen cart link on the home page but all it has done is changed it to when i hover over it it says what i have changed it to buit the zen cart manual link is still there, how do i get this off!!!!! so it says what i have changed it to ?? thanks for any help again www.gapfun.co.uk
