    Default how to delete text at checkout?

    1.3.8a
    at checkout, step 1 of 3 steps I get this:"not available at this time"
    and this: "not shipping to your area"(red font)
    So all of this kills my sales and sends the customer away.
    seems to appear in only one category of products of several categories.
    looking for help.

    Probably a stock issue - - correct your stock settings to reflect how you operate

    "not shipping to your area"(red font)
    Correct your zones

    thanks kobra; these messages affect a whole category not just one product in that category. the stock is listed correctly.
    re zones: i ship nationally, all zones. nothing to correct that i know of. any other ideas? tom

    Step 1 of 3 is the shipping options screen.
    You'll see a message about "Sorry, we're not able to ship to your address" message if you've not got any shipping modules configured to serve their address.

    Typically that happens when you change the Shipping Zone in all your shipping modules to something other than --none--.
    It's simple: Remove the restriction and the module will activate, and then the error won't appear.
