Default gift box option attribute problem

Hi, I'm having a bit of an issue here and not sure the best way to resolve.

I have a number of items that can be gift boxed so I added a gift box attribute to these, however if the customer wants to buy more than one of the same product but also selects yes for the gift box attribute, at checkout they are charged say for example 5 x the price of the product plus 5 x the gift box option, which on one hand is how the attributes should be working but the other hand it is flawed because I only want them to be charged for one gift box for say 3 of the products as they would all go into that one gift box. The only way around it at the mo is for my customers to purchase the product as 1 with the gift box, then go back to the product and purchase more without the gift box so they get their desired quantity of product but with only 1 gift box charge.

But this would be a very round about way of doing things and the customers wouldnt know to do this unless we tell them.

I could also have gift box as a seperate product but then it would be available for any product and I only want it available as an option for certian products which is why I set it as an attribute.

    Any ideas people??

my next query is however, how can I hide the 'one time charges may apply' text that now appears on the product page? As customers dont need to see this.

how can I hide the 'one time charges may apply' text
Find the file where defines for this text is and it will be like
    Code:
    'one time charges may apply'
    Make it
    Code:
    ''
