been reading a lot of posts on changing the footer background image. tried a lot of different things, and i cant get it working. a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

This is what I see - a not found for that image
Quadruple check that you have the image uploaded to that locationCode:/includes/templates/CUSTOM/images/footer.jpg was not found on this server.

If you look at the page, it also put that image at the top of the page. how could i go about getting rid of that? i appreciate the help you have giving me. youve helped me several times on here and it really has gotton my website up and going. thank you
It looks like you put the image on the navMainWrapper - which also has the navSupWrapper with it.....you need to separate it out....by having the image in the CSS with the navMainWrapper and navSuppWrapper you are telling it to applu that image to BOTH areaas....
remove the image line from the CSS and use this at the bottom of the CSS file
#navSuppWrapper{background-image: url(../images/footer.jpg);}
I think that should work!
