Sub-Catagories in columns?

I need some help with the layout of sub-catagories. I'm using Version 1.3.9f. I have a lot of sub-catagories to enter under 1 main catergory. I would like to have them listed in 2 or more columns instead of 1 column in the center box. Maybe even a second page? Here is a link to the page I'm working on.

admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > Categories To List Per Row.
