    Default Weird issue with credit card processing.

    Never seen this and we cannot replicate it.

    Running v 1.3.8a
    very basic on payment as we process all orders in house....

    Order came in today, and the customer had chosen the credit card radio button, but the order came in with no credit card information.....

    Normally if you do not input credit information, then the pop up comes up asking for it....

    I just spoke to the customer and he stated that he had input his info,,,

    the order emails are blank as well.......


    Any ideas as to how this can happen?

    As you might know, if the steps can not be replicated it is near impossible to troubleshoot
    the order emails are blank as well.......
    Completely blank or just no cc data?

    email came in, name, address, all other details there....

    then payment method said
    Credit card
    with no CC details....

    also separate email with middle digits had no digits...

    Hi,
    Was any more information found regarding this issue? The same thing happened for me yesterday. Order in Admin, order confirmation email, states Credit Card as payment, but no authorization or numbers.
    There is also no evidence of even an attempt to process a credit card in my payment processors log. Usually if a card is used for payment then whether authorized or declined it will show in transactions, but in this case there is no evidence of a credit card purchase being attempted. Customer is from India.

    We do not know who your processor is
    What ZenCart version you are using or anything

    Sorry. Wasn't asking you to be psychic, just had a similar problem as mentioned above.

    1. go to Admin->Modules->Payment, and click "Remove" on ALL modules you're not actually using on your store. That INCLUDES removing the "Offline Credit Card" module. DO NOT merely change the "Enabled?" status to false.

    2. Upgrade to the latest version of Zen Cart, since the problem which was causing the symptoms has been fixed.
