Default Debug Error_logging utility for ZC v1.3.9a enable/disable?

Debug Error_logging utility is already included in ZC v1.3.9a.

As it came with the new version of ZC, do we need to turn it off as suggested by DrByte? or just leave it running?

If Dr.Byte says something, you'd better beleive it. He has good reason for saying the things he does, even if not always obvious.

    Re: DrByte. I agree : )

I am curious, cuz he advised us to disable the utility when it didn't come with stock ZC.

in v1.3.9, it came with the install. Hence I wonder.

I personally keep it enabled nowadays.
It takes no overhead if there are no PHP errors happening.
And if there *are* errors, you have a record of them, and can tell immediately what's going on, just by checking for the files.

    Got it. Thank you.

I had it enabled all these weeks, and I just noticed that there are a bunch of log files in the /cache folder.

DrByte, Can I paste a couple of them in here to get the fix for them for shall I start a new thread?

Best to start their own discussion, if there's no clear answer already for them.
