I am using Zen Cart v1.3.9 and have installed WAMPServer 2.0 (thanks for DrByte's suggestion) on my local Win 7 64 bit PC to develop my site locally. I was successful to a large extent so I started adding products locally on my PC. I am running MySQL 5.1.36 which got installed with WAMPServer 2.0.
I exported a .gz file from local server to import into the hosting company's server database. Now my hosting company has MySQL 5.0 instead so to my surprise when I import the .gz file it throws an error. I have tried the export option MySQL40 as well MYSQL but no success.
So can/should I downgrade to 5.0? Is there is a way to export 5.1 database and import into 5.0? Can I use Access as a middleware for this export/import?
Again, folks, thanks for your help.
