Authorize.net and PayPal at the same time

Can Authorize.net and PayPal be activated at the same time and used as payment processors? And also, does it make any sense, or make any benefit?

Yes, and it offers your customers a choice. Some people are more comfortable with a gateway processor like authorize.net, some with an off-site processor like Paypal.

If you use authorize.net, I'd recommend you advertise that fact, preferably on the main page.
