What are your current stats for IE6 users?

Hi. I have been looking for stats on IE6 usage on the net, but get some real conflicting figures. Anything from 5% up to 20%

Can anyone tell me what typical percentage of IE6 users they currently get on their live Zen shops.

I am looking to perhaps implement a new template, which isn't too compatible with IE6 but gives more features that I need. I just don't want to exclude too many potential customers though.

I have just changed hosts, so have no historical data to help me out with this. Any input would be great.

Those stats can be obtained from your CPanel is case anyone wondering where to find that info...

Ours seem to average between 7 and 8 %, but that's probably higher than most, since a lot of our business is B2B, and businesses are more likely to still be using IE6.

Our sites tend to be pretty simple in design, so we don't have a lot of cross-browser issues. When we do, we use IE6 and 7 specific stylesheets, or change the design.

Over half of the visitors use FF.

Around 29% of visitors use IE. Of those,
79% use IE8
12% use IE7
8% use IE6

These are the results for a non-techy site September, the IE figures are way lower than expected in June IE 6 was at almost 6%

MSIE - 71.3 %
Msie 9.0 - 0%
Msie 8.0 - 53.3%
Msie 7.0 - 15.2%
Msie 6.0 - 2.4 %
Msie 5.5 - 0%
Msie 5.01 - 0%
Msie 5.0 - 0%
Msie 4.01 - 0%
Msie 3.02 - 0%
Msie 2.0 - 0%

0% just means theres less than a few thousand hits

IE takes around just over 70%
Ff is about 17%
Safari is 4.5%
Chrome is 3%
Netscape is 0.8
Opera is 0.7% (which is sadly probably mainly me as i have been working on the site)
