Can not install Zen Cart...

Trying to install "zen-cart-v1.3.9f-full-fileset-08142010" on my test Ubuntu server 10.04. I've spent whole day for finding out an error, but still unsuccessful. I think I did everything according the instructions, but getting following info on screen:

Do I need edit both configuration.php files manually? I could not get any settings dialog by clicking on links. Any ideas?

You shouldn't have to, nor should you, edit the configuration.php files (the file needed is actually configure.php). Are you sure that you're visiting the right page?

If the file doesn't exist, the installer can't update it, and the storefront can't use it.

In reality file includes/configure.php and the admin/includes/configure.php also does exist.
First time I tried to install ZenCart without modifying any of files - unsuccessful...
Then I read instructions and renamed both dist-configure.php files to configure.php with deleting all the files from var/www directory and copying them again from source - unsuccessful...
Tried to modify configure.php files by writing in mysql password, fixing the links - unsuccessful also...
What else I need to try???

Assuming you've got configure.php files in the appropriate locations, if you go to zc_install/index.php with your browser, the installation process should begin.

That screenshot tells me that you've copied the /includes/ content into /zc_install/ instead of the proper contents for /zc_install/

I've just copied all contents of downloaded content from ZenCart to /var/www/shop/ . then tried to open it with browser and clicked on install link. After no success I read the instructions and renamed dist-configure.php files to configure.php. When this did not give results I tried to explore configure.php files and fix errors mentioned in screenshoot... no result. I did not copy any files from one directory to another!

Have you selected "begin installation" in item 1..?
