Many design swatches on one main page

I would like to sell painted toys with many possible designs.
Can I put a link or attribute or something in an item's description which will take the user to a page with ALL of the designs and allow them to choose one? Once they click on the one they want they will return to continue shopping.

Just my opinion.

I would set up an item with attributes and use Ajax Image Swapper WITH attributes so that the only image that shows is the one (or more) for that attribute.

An example at www.aawesometoy.com. Click on Die Cast >> Cars >> and open the '39 Chevy listed on top.

All available colors/styles are seen until an attribute is chosen. Ajax includes Fual Slimbox and does not play well with ImageHandler 2 and Lightbox.
