LiveChat Sidebox - Support Thread

I have a configuration question regarding the LiveChat sidebox addon.
My customer has a custom template where the sideboxes are no longer the default width. When the LiveChat sidebox is turned on, the default image is too big for the allotted space.
How do I reduce the image size to allow for this?
Or better yet can I replace the default image for one suited to my needs?

Just go to the LiveChat Control Panel then dashboard -> website-integration -> "Click-to-chat" button and upload your own images. Now you should see your new buttons on Zen Cart website.

Regarding the previous question, is there a way to reduce the size of the default image so it will fit in the sidebox? I would like to still use that image but it is way too big for my sidebox right now, using AppleZen template.

If you want to display exactly the same button as default one, you will have to save the default image and scale it in any graphics software. Then upload new image in the way mentioned before. I Hope this will help you.

That makes sense thanks for the info, they also offered a different image that fits the sidebox so I went with that for now. Thanks again!

I've come across another problem using livechat, I went to edit (or even better, delete) the opening message sent to a customer when they click to chat, and I was able to delete the default message, but cannot add any new text! So now when someone clicks to chat, they automatically receive a message from me with just my name, but no message.

Does anyone know a way to add my own default message in there so it's not just a blank field? Or even better, can I delete the auto message altogether and just welcome the customer once I initiate the chat?

Please go to Settings -> Languages -> Edit English (or another lang) -> Welcome -> 'Welcome to chat' and type here your message.
