Okay I figured it out. You need an application as well to make it work, duuh.
Thought it was enough with only the actual page id.

aha so that is why they worked now...I do not have any other account at FB except my own personal one---the store one is shared and when I like something to that number it won't work right so I just used my personal account ref=name to do my fb likes to.

There are products that share the same name, however, that is not always the case with each incident. Is it possible to have the mod call the image in another, more specific way, such as model id?

My bad... I was integrating with early versions of zencart and inadvertently replaced the wrong snippet of code in metatags.php.

If you go from a previous version -- 1.3.9h for example -- to 1.5 then yes because they are located in the template override folders. IF the mods had files in the admin/includes/boxes (I think that is right) then they will not show in the admin section.

If you are using a fresh install of 1.5 then they might not work if the code has not been fixed.

From everything that I have read in this forum about Delia’s Facebook mod was for the previous Zen cart versions so I was curious if it work for the V1.5.0. And if it is compatible, do I follow the same installation procedure?

I would, hers is one that does not have admin side controls to it.

I would install her code into the duplicate of the files that are going to be placed into your template folder.

If there are core files to edit also use a duplicate to edit and please backup the store database prior to doing anything...you never know when the internet gods get hungry and eat your stuff.

It has been awhile since I installed her mod and as I said all my mods work in my 1.5 test store but then it is a direct copy of the live store and all files were in their override folders...now when they get their codes placed into the newer store files...who knows. We were supposed to uninstall mods which I totally forgot to do.

Some are getting ported to 1.5 files but not most of the ones I use so I am waiting to see when they do...since all the mods being ported are / should be in the mod area but not all have been placed with the 1.5 as the software it is for in their listing yet and have not gone thru the long listing in their thread to see which have been ported yet.

sure wish there were a way for the site to let us know which ones definitely work in the 1.5 software

I would have tested her code on my testing server, but the new version of Zen cart V1.5.0 doesn't work with the version of xampp that I have unless I install the new version of xampp. The demo store that is on my testing server is V1.3.9h so that doesn't help.

I guess I'm going to follow Delia's instruction and install it on the new V1.5.0 and if there is any problems I could always remove the code.

I just checked the files for 1.5 and there are tiny changes in the html_header that do not affect functioning so yes, the mod can be used as is for 1.5.

Please do understand that the 1.5 changes are for pci complicance and you should look carefully for file changes this time. Do file compares and check the change log for file changes. Too many times I found the wrong version of a file being used on a site with 1.3.9h. Always check!
