Facebook Like Button

One thing to note: If I have the Facebook Fan Box sidebox set to ON, it will cause the like button to 'error.' [I tried to implement the like button for months and couldn't figure out what was causing this error!]

I'd rather have the like button than the fan box so this does not bother me at the moment.

woohoo i got it to work, deciding to try it again and created a new app and this time all i did differently was go to edit settings and changed the canvas type from iframe to fbml, dont know if that is what caused it to work but it is.

yup only shows up if a comment is posted. hope a solution comes for this, other than that works fine except for the IE not working which will be fixed when i get your updated files

getting a JS error with facebook on the IE version, still isnt showing up, IE8

I'm not seeing problems with IE 8 display at all. I see the error message but it looks like they are all coming from the facebook script not zencart.

Using IE tester, neither IE6 or 9 will load - the pages crash - but as I don't have either version, I'm not sure what actually might happen.

There's no question that the Facebook team has a long way to go to make this usable, folks.

I wrote this mod for a customer of mine, but I would not put it in on my personal cart. For a busy cart this can provide some excellent advertising but the fewer likes you get, the less this is worth having.

ahhh nevermind it is working fine now, i guess i accidentally uploaded one of the old files thinking it was the new. so yeah it works now and the JS error from FB is gone.

sweet, good job thanks a lot, if this even only brings a single order it then it was well worth it.

now maybe time to integrate that stupid twitter.
