EPOS xml websync integration?

Does anyone know if is possible to integrate a Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) system from retail tills. (system supplied by company named www.csy.co.uk) "We can provide your website developer with our WebSync interface that give you the following: 1. XML interface to allow the extraction of product information from Vector for use in your website including departments, descriptions and images.
2. XML interface to allow the sending of order information back to Vector"

It would be possible. I haven't heard of an exisiting module to do this, but it would certainly be possible to code one.
