I was using 1.3.9f, everything was fine.

I upgraded last night to 1.3.9g, and it was fine too. Then this afternoon I tried to modified the define_main_page.php in the admin panel using the define pages editor. After I saved, the main page start showing HTML code.

I checked other pages, such as shipping & returns and privacy...everything else were fine except the main_page. I cleared the browser's history, cache... and copied the original define_main_page.php from the zen-cart classic theme, then open the browser, still no good.

I noticed, whatever I put inside the editor, everything will show up as plain text, even as simple as "Welcome to my store" then a "Enter" key, it will show to the front page "Welcome to my store </br>".

Currently I am uploading the backup files to restore to 1.3.9f

It's possible I made mistakes when I was uploading the new files. So I will try again later.

However, I noticed yesterday after I uploaded the new files, one of the new function didn't work (ADDED: option added to disable Express Checkout shortcut button for those merchants whose customers are confused by it. However, it's best to leave it on to increase sales and conversions.) then I saw Dr.Byte added a new line in the board

/includes/modules/payment/paypal/tpl_ec_button.php

And today I found another line:

/includes/classes/payment.php

I definitely don't mean to be rude, aggressive, offensive or try to accuse or find excuses for my mistakes, but please tell me there is no more missing files in the Changelog before I try again.

thank you

Justin
