Individual Shipping for a few items?

Hello,

I use table shipping rates for 99% of our products, but I have a couple of products that should not be calculated via table rate. Is there a way to change the shipping for just a few products and will not show table rates for these items?

Do you currently use weight?
Do you currently show weight on the customer side?

One could make the table limit weight max and you use a weight above that for your few items

But consider what you are going to have the cart do if a customer buys several item that total/trip max weight or combine your special item with other items in the same order???
