Hi,

I want to make customer registration to be eaiser for my website,

Only customer email id and password and confirm password for the customer registration.no other details should be required. how can I do this?

If authentication from the email id is needed, can we do that also?

What reason will there be to create an account if there is nothing to buy?

To keep track of regular visitors, to send them news letters, to keep them updated, about my website,

I need only Email of my users, may be I would like to add the First name and last name, but not more than that.


there may be many reasons for this, need advise to do this.

Problem is, if you set your Zencart site to Showcase mode, all the login and create account stuff is turned off.
