All product pages stopped working

Hi. My partner decided to do some funky moves on our zencart setup. He tried to update, but during the installation process he quit. Then he also put a backup back on the server. Now if you press ANY product, the page does not load at all...

I am the lucky guy who has to fix this, but I don't know what to do. I have checked the config files to look for mySQL bugs or similar. Do you have any pointers on what I should look for when dealing with this? I'm thinking, what is the first thing you think when you see a problem like this? Where should I start?

I really hope some one has any ideas because we might lose several customers here....

If you go all the way to see actual information about a single product to actually buy it you are directed to a blank page... Just try to click the banner in the middle at the front page. It's supposed to take you to the product.

Can you really see the actual product page?

Ahhh!!

Check in your template strusture if you have a file here
includes/templates/nightfall/templates/product_info_display.php

If so, move a copy to your local and delete the one on the server and see if that helps

The path you suggested (which seems to be the one I'm using) does not contain anything other than "images" , "css" and template_info.php.

I also did a search through the entire file structure I have on disk (an earlier backup) and could not find any product_info_display.php.

I did find product_info.php in /www/includes/languages/norwegian.
That's the closest I get...

Have a look in
includes/templates/template_default/templates/product_info_display.php

Try replacing with a fresh copy from a distribution that matches your version

You should begin an upgrade aas you are several releases out of date

I find tpl_product_info_display.php in there. When you say fresh version, you mean download an older zen cart and pick it from there? I have tried renaming the one above and also placed it in the other directory you mentioned earlier.

I am thinking upgrade is the next step. I would just like the store to be functional first...

Yes, and start with only the default file
delete any others
