Downloadable products - Create Order on behalf of customer

Hi,

I am running a product down-loadable website. I use PayPal as my only payment gateway.

But sometimes I get the payment via offline (cheque, bank transfer, cash). Once I get the offline payment I want to create a member record for him and also I want to create a order (something similar to the paypal member).

Is there any procedure or hacks? What are the tables I need to add records.

Any information on this is welcome.

Simple: create an order as the customer would do, using his email address, buy the product as he would normally do online, and use the Check/MoneyOrder module during checkout. Then login to your admin and update the order from Pending to Processing. The customer will receive a confirmation email, and be able to do their own self-service downloading, etc, with all built-in security measures as usual.
