lost with page/category layout

Hello there:)

i got a problem with my category/page layout i can't solve myself.
when i add a new product i got 2 options - product quantity box enabled or disabled, when i set to enable i get add to cart quantity box in product pages and my category listing looks like in 3rd product ( add quantity box)
When i disable it, category page listings look like in first 2 products (just add to cart button withou quantities) But when i choose disabled, i don't have a quantity box in product listing either.

I hope it's clear what i mean, anyway i attached a screenshot of my category page layout.

What i'd like is:
product page - add to cart quantity box and add to cart button
category page - add to cart button only (without quanity box)

how can i do it? is it possible?
i'm completly lost

In Admin - Configuration - Product Listing, try setting:

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product) to 2

and

Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status and Set Button Location to 0.

I did it your way stevesh and i'm a bit confused right now,

there are 2 buttons - "add to cart" - button_buy_now.gif and button_in_cart.gif

in a category page - button_buy_now.gif
in a product page - button_in_cart.gif

right now button "add to cart" is added to category page but still with quantity box

Could be an issue with your Template Monster template. What happens when you switch temporarily back to the Classic template ?

look now, for me it looks the same

in index my template shows product with details button below.
can i set it somehow from admin to have same button next to add to cart button in category page?
