error in credit card acceptatance

i got this error while checkout confirmation? can any body tell me how to fix it?

Basically the message means what it says. The customer entered a card number that's not accepted by your store. (ref: Admin->Configuration->Credit Cards).

There could be additional contributing factors, esp with addon modules, depending on what payment module you're using.
