    Default Database Migration

I was trying to move a database from one webhost to another, following the instructions here https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=103

Not all the tables are being imported. It first stopped at admin logs, so I deleted all the records in that table. Now it gets up to product types. I know little about phpmyadmin, but I'm guessing there is a limit to the number of records imported or exported?

What is a solution to get all the tables imported?

If you are exporting with the recommended settings and then importing at the new location it should complete with success

    How large is the DB?

93 tables, 8714 records. Small, I would think.

After the import, in my new database I have 64 tables, 2310 records.

    Old server - mysql 5.0.83, phpmyadmin 2.8.0.1
    New Server - mysql 5.1.47, phpmyadmin 3.2.4

I tried it with partial import on and off, for some reason it just stops after 64 tables. This happened when I tried to upload it to a another server as well, which indicates it might be the way I am exporting it. As I said, I was using the tutorial I linked to, and I only checked the options it said to and left the rest at their default.

Guess I would ask your host to restore the DB backup

I got it to work by not using any compression. Exported and imported as myfile.sql rather than myfile.sql.gz.

I have no clue why gzip didn't work.
