Hi all,
Zen Cart v1.3.9d upgraded from osCommerce using a sql mod.
No addons, only css changes to the header.
I have looked through the FAQ and Googled the info I am looking for.
I have turned off quantity from showing up in the store, so if you look at a product you won't find the amount in stock. Used Catalog/product types/product-general/show quantity in stock (value=0) drop down box shows False.
What we need is for the store owner not to have to worry about stock levels, she orders stuff all the time and she doesn't want to change the stock in the store online and her store's software. (I know that's not good business sense, but anyway)
In Configuration/product listing/ Display Product quantity (value=0)
In Configuration/stock/check stock level (value=false)
In Configuration/stock/subtract stock (value=false)
In Configuration/allow checkout (value=true)
In Configuration/mark product out of stock (value=***)
I am not sure what I am missing, but items still end up out of stock and then you can't order them. I really didn't want to have to go through all the items in the store and add 1,000,000 to each for the amount in stock.
Thanks for your help,
Alex
