Gift Certificate Code Not Given

I set up and sold my 1st Gift Certidicate today. The customer received and email telling them they had purchased a Gift Certificate, etc, but did not give them a Code Number, I "Released", then immediately in the next email, "Accepted" the Gift Certificate... did I do something wrong, miss a step, advance a step? I can't access a "Code" number and the customer is asking me for it... HELP!

If you Sell a GV ... then the GV is set in a queue and will be added to the Customer's GV balance when you Release the GV that was purchased and added to their balance ...

The GV Queue is used to ensure that proper payment has been received for the GV that was purchased, prior to releasing it to the Customer's GV account ...
