red flag Inserting A Basic Text Box Form To Email

This is for my zen-cart website but is slightly off topic.

I want to create a text box form (in HTML).

In which when anyone enters anything inside of it and hits submit - It will email whatever they entered to me.

What's the HTML code for this?

    Thank You!

Google for html form and select code for one that does what you want

You can enter the edited/adjusted code into an ezpage

Be aware that textareas and the ez-page edit box do not play well together. You can copy/paste form code that includes a textarea in, and it will work if done correctly, but if you go to edit it later, the textarea in the form will break the edit page. You need to go through a couple of steps of deleting the whole form and re-pasting it from your source.

And remember to make sure you pay careful attention to making sure your custom forms are all very carefully protected against spamming and even security vulnerabilities.

You can copy the contact us code and modify it like i did here:

    Contact box

But now after reading some of the posts i have a slight concern of my own.

If, as i have, you used the contact us code to achieve this, are there the same vulnerabilities as mentioned above.
