blank side box mod

Hi, I'd like to have extra side boxes on the right hand side underneath the 'have you seen' box that will contain an image with text about postage or something like that. I'm just wondering if kuroi's 'blank side box' add on is appropriate for this?

Yes, it is. It's quite easy to use.

Yes, it is. I have the Editable Sidebox Mod installed in all sorts of variants, works a treat and can be edited via admin in Define Pages Editor.

I have just downloaded the blank side box mod, changed its header and put html code in and uploaded it, buyt it is not showing in the layout box controller so what have i done wrong. Its the zencart 1.3.8a/1.3.8

Really the only thing you could have done wrong is to not upload all the files, or upload them to the wrong place. Check includes/modules/sideboxes for blank_sidebox.php.

Exactly what changes did you make? One of them apparently affected Zen Cart's ability to recognize the new sidebox.

That, or a file may be missing/corrupt... :)

This is a great mod installed in a blink. I would like to include an href to advertisers web pages and would like it to open in a new pop up window. Achieved this here

What are you trying that is not working, and where? I don't see any link code at all in the blank sidebox.
