    Default Authorize.net & USPS Shipping

    I have been using PayPal Express and it interfaces nicely with USPS for printing paid shipping labels.

    I recently added Authorize.net as a payment option. I got my first order and all went well except when I went looking for a way to print my label. All I could see was the order info. Nothing was interfacing with USPS for shipping even though I had the USPS module up and running smoothly. I guess that module is only for shipping cost calculations.

    So my problem was how to get my shipping label printed. All I could figure to do was to go to the USPS web site and manually enter all the information and create my own label. Am I missing something?

    Also I noticed that there didn't seem to be any selection for First Class or Parcel Post which is an option I use. So if a customer selected Parcel Post as this first customer did I wasn't able to do this and had to select Priority Mail instead.

    Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated as to what you folks do for your shipping interface with Authorize.net & USPS

    No you are not
    There is no cross integration between AuthorizeNet and USPS in the default code

    I have looked at both of these Thank you. I see that the Click-n-ship option only looks like it imports your customer data for you. The draw back is that they only offer:

    Domestic Services

    * Express Mail®
    * Priority Mail®

    International Services

    * Global Express Guaranteed®
    * Express Mail International®
    * Priority Mail® International

    I ship small packages and like many folks prefer to ship First Class Mail.

    The other service uses Dazzle from Endicia and this costs about $15 min/month

    I am also looking at Stamps.com which is also about $15 min/month

    Unfortunately if I want to ship First Class either way it looks like I would have to pay a monthly fee...

    You can continue manually, or consider if the time saved is worth it

    Ok for what it might be worth to other folks who may read this...

    I decided to go with stamps.com they now make a plug-in sort of speak that works nicely with Zen Cart. You can read about it here:

    https://stamps.custhelp.com/app/answ...ail/a_id/1204/

    Basically you sign up for an account download the software onto your computer and follow the instruction to modify the files so they work with your shopping cart. Up load them to your root and then the software on your computer interfaces with your shopping cart and stamps.com so you can print peel-n-stick labels off your printer!

    So time will tell now how well it works but I read a few other posts and Zenners seem very happy with the time saved and smooth interface...

    According to Stamps.com you can make use of all shipping available:

    Choose from all USPS Services

    * All mail classes including Priority, Express, First Class and Media Mail
    * Schedule free USPS Pick-ups
    * Certified Mail® and free delivery confirmation*
