If I bought a Zen Cart program from a local Zen Cart licence distributor outside of US, is it their responsibility to set up the programme for me if I had tried and fail to set it up myself following the Zen Cart tutorials?

Also, why is it that the distributor discourage me to check for upgrades for Zen Cart online shop program?

Any advise for a newbie Zen cart user?
