Immediate problem when editing my main page

Hi, I'm a little new to Zen Cart, so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
So I'm trying to edit a downloaded template. First, I hope I imported the template right. I was able to switch to the template in Zen Cart, so I think the upload went ok.
So after changing Zen Cart to the new template, I decide to go to:

Tools>Define Pages Editor>define_main_page and use the HTMLarea.

At this point I try just to change a little text, and all of sudden what gets displayed on my main page is HTML test.

If I blank out the main page and just have:

Hello

Hello

on it, my main page will display this:

<p>Hello</p><p /><p>Hello</p><p /><p />

Can anyone help with this and let me know what I'm doing wrong?

There is no such tag as <p />... or at least I've never seen it.

Try

<p>Hello</p><p>Hello</p>

That was it! Thanks so much. I was going a little crazy because I had just done this kind of editing about a 3 weeks ago, but with a different ISP. Awesome. Thanks again!!!
