Default Background on SSL Vs Non SSL pages

Okay smart Zen people, my 1st post and I Hope someone can help me figure this out. Of course I figure someone will say .."oh just do this" and I'll feel really dumb....because I am missing something easy..I know it, my problem cannot be that hard to figure out but I am stumped~! Okay here goes....

    Website is http://www.crazydaveyracing.com/store

    Zen Cart Version is 1.3.9

I have a customized template by a third party.

Where I am having an issue is when you hit the non secure landing page on http://www.crazydaveyracing.com/store it displays the default background as white.

If you click on the "My account" tab at the top of the store it will direct you to a HTTPS page, as designed and set up in my config.php files. I.E. And FireFox both work fine and display with out warnings.

Notice that the back ground on the Secure page is Grey.

This is what I want it to be, however non of the non secure pages on the site will correctly display the background color change I put into in the .css

Frankly after a day of tinkering with it...I'm lost. What on earth am I missing here?!?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

if you mean the background to the sides of the main wrapper, then on google chrome, ie, firefox and opera, its grey on both pages, home and account page...
i may not know how yet, but i soon will....i hope :)

Oh the curse words out of my mouth right now...I know what is going on, I am in Q8 and I've had this issue in the past over here where all of my web work was actually working, but I couldn't see it real time . I apologize profusely for wasting folks time. Sorry!!
