need to add columns to home page HELP!!

Hi all had a brief look couldn't find what i was wanting so added a new thread


iam trying to add products to my home page but it seems to just list in one column wich is just going on forever i want it to be in say 3 columns going across the home page but i cant seem to find the option for this.

Prob gone over it and not relize please help me thank you

It only affects the product listing.

mate iam cr ping myself looking at those instructions scared in-case i screw the whole site up is there a way you could help at all please
