v1.3.9g - Required in Attributes

I installed the newest update this morning and every since have been fighting withe attributes and required attributes. Nothing works, no work around found.......at a stand still which means I am not making any money right now either. I have a new store that i am working with to test and see what works so I can implement the changes to the live store. Link is

All of the my clients stores are running the v1.3.9f version and there required attributes are working flawlessly.

Can someone repackage this new relase v1.3.9g with something that works please.

It looks like you've not got the "required" attribute set up correctly.
What are the settings on your "Please Choose" entry? It should be display-only, else none of the "required" functionality can be triggered.

Please Choose Settings:
Yellow: No
Blue: No
Orange: No
Pink: No
Purple: No
Red: Yes

Also it is set up the same way on this as it is on other stores, so what gives? Why would it be any different?

On the uswebworx site ...

The RED Text Required only works on TEXT Attributes ...

What happens if you set that Attribute up correctly for the:
Please Choose Below

and set the:
Display Only: YES
Default: YES

Does it work better?
