Home page - no content displaying

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a new store at www.rfd.com.au/store, and have used a free template from http://(sorry, site offline)/. Everything seems to be working fine, but I simply cannot get the home page to display anything in the main content area.

I can go to Tools > Define Pages Editor, and make changes to the define_main_page.php file, but absolutely nothing displays on the home page. If I make changes to any other pages via Define Pages Editor (conditions, contact, site map etc), the changes come through fine. The home page however is being stubborn.

Any ideas?

Actually... I think I may have stumbled on the answer. After adding a few sample products to my store, I can now see that they're appearing in the home page content area.

Obviously that's how the template's setup to function.

Not to figure out how to cutomise it!
